Press Release Summary: A recent study has shown the average ownership age of various
cars is not what the common perception of the car is. Also, to buy a new vehicle
which is fuel-efficient, one can think of taking up a car loan.

Press Release Body: According to a new study, it is being suggested that for the
people who are standing at the age of around 40 years most likely own Porsches.

Tesco Personal Finance conducted the study which gave further conclusions. The
Cayenne, Boxsters and 911 are most probable to be seen driven by people who are
standing on the threshold of a mid-life crises. The average age of ownership of the
Fiat and Peugeot is said to be 31 and 32 respectively. For the Mercedes and Jaguar,
the average age of ownership was seen to be 43 and 47 years.

Also, there are a number of people in Britain who want to follow in the steps of
James Bond and opt for an Aston Martin DB7 at the age of 42 years. Another Brit
seems to inspire 35-year-olds who follow the tracks of the Del Boy and get a Robin
Reliant for themselves.

Those people who wish to get their dream car and fulfill their fantasies may find
car loans as a great option. The opportunity of a low rate car loan may also appeal
to those who wish to gift their loved one a car of their choice.

Also, another surprise finding is that with Nissans, Hondas and Toyotas being
thought as mostly driven by older people, they have their average ownership age at
mid-thirties which are pretty much young and youthful than the drivers usually
depicted for these cars.

Paul Baxter, spokesman for Tesco Personal Finance, says, "We have seen some
surprising results through this study. The cars that are thought to be driven mostly
by the young have an average ownership age too much beyond those levels. The
depiction of the drivers in the advertising of these cars is not always what you
actually see. Also, if you want to go against the books and wish to buy a car
regardless of your age, you can go in for some good shopping. Make sure to check all
deals and also take care that you get the cheapest and best insurance for your car,
whichever you are driving."

The people who want to reduce their carbon output may find car loans useful for
buying vehicles which are more fuel-efficient. For those looking to improve the
environment credentials of your home, getting a secured loan can prove to be useful
for you. Through this loan, the homeowners can easily cover the costs of the cavity
wall insulation and also make other green improvements.
